View Full Version : Movies and TV -- Do you know who Leo Sayer is?
Simply Red

I was sitting in a room with about ten coworkers today, and discovered that only one of them know who Leo Sayer is. I was completely baffled. I kind of assumed everyone knew who he is. I didn't necessarily think they had to be fans of his or even familiar with his work, but I assumed that people at least know who he is.
Do I work with crazy people or is this the norm now?

I get that only few people know who he is.
When I was small this was the only song on our only radio station, there for awhile.

I know who he is but only because he was constantly blasted on my radio during the disco era, much like Neil Sedaka. I don't expect the general public to know him or TBH any of his songs. Although I can sing along with most of them.
