Pretty hard to guarantee a 5th year when the dude is constantly injured.

Hmmmm...i agree with Pestilence, but i find myself wondering what the recently departed GM would have done?

Macklin had injury concerns before coming here. Get him.

Team sucks, GM sucked so he probably is faking it to get out of there.

Macklin the CB from the Cardinals? He's been retired forever.

If this dude becomes a FA he'd be interesting to bring in on a prove it deal. Especially with a stout defense and a young gun QB. :)

Watkins isn't worth 13 million.. He may be if he can play a full season and put up the per game #'s he did in 2015.

If he could stay healthy he's worth every penny of 13 million but yeah...

Yeah, and when the contract is guaranteed for injury, it's pretty hard to pull the trigger on a guy that's constantly injured.

I mean it's effectively a guaranteed deal the moment you pick it up because you know that Watkins is going to end this season hurt...again. The only question is if he can give you 12-13 healthy games first because that's probably enough for 75 catches an 1100 yards.

He's among the more talented WRs in the game when he's right but I'm not sure we'll ever see 'right' again.

You just know he's a future HOF WR for the NE Patriots.
