I watched this live on TV when I was a kid. It was one of the most happy and sad plays I can remember happening. I hated the Yankees and this solidified that hate for a lifetime.

Yeah, I watched that game on TV and lost my got damn mind like GB when it happened. I was teenager at the time, and remember hopping in my car and going over to my buddies house to bitch about it. We decided we were better off going to a bar a bitching about it there. So we got in my car and went to Ruthie's B&G in Mission, KS and drank our under-age asses into a stupor:D
