Of the four teams, whose QB depth chart would you take, and in what order?

Broncos: Paxton Lynch, Trevor Siemian, Chad Kelly

Chargers: Philip Rivers, Kellen Clemens, Mike Bercovici

Chiefs: Alex Smith, Patrick Mahomes II, Tyler Bray

Raiders: Derek Carr, EJ Manuel, Connor Cook

Poll forthcoming.

As of now I have the Chiefs and Chargers as 1a/1b, Raiders 2, and Donkeys 3.

The question was depth though, so I went with this:

1. Chargers
2. Chiefs
3. Raiders
4. Donkeys

With Alex Smith:

1. Raiders
2. Chargers
3. Broncos
4. Chiefs

With Mahomes:

We'll see, but I like our chances more than with that shit head Alex Smith.

Look, I know Alex has his limitations but also, We just Beat Derek Carr twice, Beat Philip Rivers Twice and The Broncos, TWICE!

We swept the toughest division in football, with Alex Smith!!

Lets give the man some credit, please.

Now, GO PFM2!!

I'd go with this, although I might put the Chargers in front just because of Phylis.

Aren't you getting a little ahead of yourselves with Mahomes? Is there a significant difference in physical ability between Mahomes and Derek Carr? And Carr has made it. Mahomes isn't guaranteed to pan out.

I agree. Its tough to split hairs over the backup and then 3rd stringers.

Raiders and Chargers have the best QB situation as of right now. Mahomes could change all that and next year we all agree the Chiefs have the best QB situation but right now its Raiders and/or Chargers as far as QBs go.

Math fail?

More people are picking the Raiders QB 1st and 2nd than the chiefs....

the real consensus seems to be Broncos last...

with a slight majority thinking Raiders are the best QB in the div..

I think a lot of people would go with Raiders, Chargers, Chiefs and Broncos.

Although, and this will get me attacked around here... if you look at Rivers' resume, it's probably not as far ahead of Smith as people think. Regular season, it's no contest by a mile. So I get that. But if you look at the playoffs, which is we all use to separate QBs... Rivers has 4 playoff wins to Smith's 2. And it's not like Rivers has played on terrible teams, SD was routinely the "best team to not make the playoffs" just about every year. One of those years they were the first team in history to be #1 on offense and #1 on defense and not make the playoffs. Rivers has 1 playoff win in the last 7 seasons, and in that game he threw for 128 yards.

In the playoffs they both have 60% completion percentage, Smith actually averages more yards/game, has more TD passes (in less games) and far less INTs. Rivers teams have averaged 20.3 ppg, Smith's teams 27.2 ppg. Smith had some special teams and defensive help for sure, but also had one of the all-time defensive collapses thrown in there too. In one of Rivers playoff "wins", he was actually knocked out of the game and Billy Volek led a 4th quarter comeback to win.

Carr has hit his ceiling, folks. That O-line has been stellar for him thus far, we all know how he plays under the slightest pressure.

Carr has hit his ceiling, folks.

You realize they are favored to win the division this year, right? I mean ..I hope you are correct (and last season is the best we will see of him) but there is no evidence for this at all.....he is a young QB....they JUST completed their 1st wining season....

I mean all that being said...

he was 12-3 as a starter , 4000 yards in 15 games....265 YPG...28td 6 int...

I mean is it supposed to be comforting that that is his ceiling? Thats a monster season....

Is your comment some sort of joke?

Yup. Not to mention they were in the driver's seat to take the division. They had to lose for us to win, and Carr got hurt.
