Going to be in St. Joe around lunch time today. Any suggestions for good/cheap lunch, bbq or other?

My parents passed through last weekend and raved about Boudreaux's.

Looks like a $10-12 lunch before drinks and tax.

Bandanas....next to Drury Inn, exit 47 from I-29

Decent BBQ; otherwise, Whiskey Creek inside the Ramada same intersection

I expected John de Lancie to be the honored guest at some sort of convention. I am disappointed.

2nd this. Went there after the Chiefs camp and it was pretty good.

Brisket and Chicken, stick to Sweet/Smoky and Xtra Hot sauces.

Fries and green beans as sides.

St. Joe is the land of chain restaurants. I haven't lived there in 6 years or so but I don't recall any outstanding BBQ places then and haven't heard of anything new. Try Bandanas if you're really after BBQ only.

Boudreauxs was suggested earlier in the thread, and that's the place I usually want to go if I'm up that way. If you dig cajun food, then you'll have a lot of very tasty options.

I also like their toast that comes with it.

Yeah, I didn't specifically recommend it because it comes with everything. But their garlic toast is awesome, particularly if you dip it in the Sweet/Smoky sauce.

Went with Boudreauxs. Homecut fries were good, burger was average. Apparently the building has no AC because it was about 80 degrees in there.

We have (had) a Bandanas in my town and it sucks so I didn't give the st Joe one a chance.
