View Full Version : Science Public reveal of the best dinosaur fossil ever found.

They hint at an ankylosaurus in Montana that is similar, but this nodosaur is pretty spectacular. It was found in western Canada several years ago and they've been working to get it out of the rock. Apparently the dinosaur died and got swept out to sea, and then sank to the bottom in a perfect combination of minerals. It wasn't just the bones that fossilized, but the whole dinosaur. I always thought the club at the end of the tail of the anklyosaurus looked like the head of a penis.

Was probably tough for that dinosaur to fit in with the nickname "penis tail"
