Seahawks icon and Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy dead at 48

Cortez Kennedy, an icon with the Seattle Seahawks who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012, has died at age 48, the Orlando Police Department said Tuesday.

He always stopped one or two key drives man. Didn't matter who he was up against. I always heard his name.

Great player, and 48 is entirely too young. RIP.

I bet Grunhard will have something to say about it the next time he's on Petro's show. I'll be interested in hearing what it was like to go against him from his point of view.
