He's a free agent from what I remember and if his issues are behind him could be a real help at ILB

Any interest?

Besides the assault charges, he hasn't played in more than 3 years.

Also, as I've been saying for years (and Terez Paylor said the same thing this morning in his Chiefs article), the Chiefs just don't place much value on ILBers.

They think they're fine with the current players on the roster.

Rather have David Harris since the Jets cut him.

Harris is just as quick as the 34 year old DJ. Harris lead the Jets in tackles last year. He would be a good stop gap for a year or so with the current state of our ILB group.

David Harris cant play the pass at all, DJ is definitely better in pass coverage. Harris can stop the run and blitz the QB thats it

They won't because of the PR I doubt and not valuing ILB etc, but Washington could be had for cheap and would be motivated I'd imagine.

They're retarded if they really think they're fine at ILB.

They're retarded if they really think they're fine at ILB.

The Chiefs scheme doesn't value ILBer's, as evidenced by their draft picks (4, 5, 5) and UDFA's (March and Smith).

They're in a Nickel defense on 2 out of 3 downs, so it makes sense for them not to heavily invest in ILBer's.

And in case you hadn't noticed, they've won 11, 9, 11 and 12 regular season games, so their philosophy is sound.
