Brock-lol

Browns trying hard to dump Haden.

Yep. I bet they are- stupid Browns.

Literally the only one I would take a look at is Cam Erving. And it would be for like a 6th or 7th rounder.

I don't watch enough Factory of Sadness to know how much Joe Haden has left in the tank, but for fucks sake, it has to be more than we're getting out of every CB on the roster not named Marcus Peters.

The problem is his contract.

Unless you are giving a 7th round pick there is no way we are trading for Forte. He ia 31 years old at the RB position. If you're going to trade a draft pick for a RB, you need to make sure he is going to give us a few years at a high level. Such a devalued position.

Haden if he agrees to a pay cut, not just a restructure. Before his injury Haden was averaging the same number of Pass Defenses as Marcus Peters but with only half the interceptions.

If we're going to try to improve our RB, it needs to be on the back end of the depth chart.

No need to sign/trade for someone just to have them take snaps from KHunt.

Browns would have to ship him and at least a 2nd rounder to make it worth that bloated salary.

It would be like trying to trade Gaines if he was due 11 million a year for the next 3 years. :shake:

Browns have really sucked with their contracts, just between Haden and Brock-that is a lot of cap room- no wonder they are so desperate to trade them.

He can't be any worse than Philip "LONG" Gaines, can he?

As it stands, Haden ranks No. 7 in average salary among cornerbacks (per Spotrac.com) but he was one of the NFL's worst-performing cornerbacks last season, according to ProFootball Focus' grading system. He finished 115th out of 132 cornerbacks among all cornerbacks

Trading Joe Haden would leave the #Browns dead cap hits of $3.3M in 2017 & $3.2M in 2018. New team acquires cap hits of $11.1M/$11.2M/$10.5M

Joe Haden would immediately be our 2nd best corner. Not at what he's making though.

He wasn't healthy most of the season

I'd trade a conditional 7th for Erving, for sure.

He can be a swing tackle -- not much of an upgrade over Jah Reid though.

I would be surprised if any of them get traded. They will likely all get cut on Saturday. Then they can be picked up on a more reasonable contract. Well, except Ward. He either gets traded or stays put. I don't think that ElFraud would just cut him.

Agreed. Not saying it's cake finding RB's but the most I would give up for Forte is a 6th.

I personally think Hunt is going to need some load taken off him if we want him to have any juice in the playoffs. I'm not losing sleep over West/Spiller being the guys to help.

I do think Forte could help Hunt on and off the field. I do think Haden would upgrade our CB position. We could use tackle depth for sure. I'm just not sure Haden is worth the headache of that contract. The other two I would be fine with if the compensation was small.

We are in a cap crunch. Accepting Mitchell over Haden is the smart thing to do imo.

PFF player grades in 2015 and 2016

Cameron Erving has ranked inside the bottom three at his position in each of the last two years in terms of his pass-block efficiency.

On 438 passing plays in 2016, Erving was tied for second among centers for total pressures allowed.

The Browns this offseason recently signed former Green Bay Packers center J.C. Tretter and former Cincinnati Bengals guard Kevin Zeitler, who ranked ninth and seventh, respectively, at their positions last year.

Right tackle is realistically the only spot he can compete at, and with Shon Coleman producing a PFF grade of 72.2 on the small sample of 62 snaps, there may not be a starting spot for the 2015 first-round draft pick on the Browns offensive line in 2017.

Nah

Mitchell might be better than Haden at this point

The rest aren't good, but for super cheap Erving might be worth a look.

Erving has been a huge bust, and obviously the Broncos ruined Osweiler as well.

Ward is a dirty cheapshot thug, so I don't want him anywhere near our team.

I didn't know that Haden had gone downhill, so for the money he may not be worth it. But he would be intriguing.

Forte intrigues me a lot.

Rod Streater is like, 6th on their WR depth chart and in danger of getting cut.

I'd trade a bag of doughnuts for Ian Seau just so we could troll the shit out of San Diego. Ooops... sorry... mean the LA Chargers.

On second thought, I don't think the Chargers have any more fans. The ones in San Diego divorced them, and nobody in LA likes them either.

Never mind.
