You gotta figure competent defenses will be able to cage Watson in.

Eventually he's going to have to air that ball out.

I like the athleticism but that's not the part of his game he needs to develop.

Great run but he won't last long in the NFL doing that. I also think ball security will be an issue in the future.

I also figure that if he learns to read defenses he will rely on that a lot less. This is a good situation for him. He isn't asked to do much given the Houston defense. And they'll give him a conservative passing game to learn from. I don't know what to think of him yet. He's got a very long way to go but I've always thought if his mechanics and approach can ever develop to complement his big game cajones, he could be a good qb. IF.
