i will say i'm more confident with fulton as C than G, he really aint too bad to fill in at C

however, Morse is a bad ass and fulton is not, so it hurts

one more thing, i hate foot sprains, usually comes back as bad news

So what are we thinking? 3-4 weeks?

We'll be fine. Zach Fulton was great as backup center in 2015. Plus, it prevents the coaches from plugging him in at guard in case of injury to Witzmann or LDT.

Fulton is actually pretty good at playing C

I wonder if the boot/crutches is just them being careful. Because that doesn't sound like foot sprain treatment....

We need Ehinger back, and luckily I think he is very close.

As much as you never want to see a guy on crutches in a boot, it's often precautionary before the swelling goes down and they can ascertain the severity of it.

Fulton is a quality center, we'll be fine.

Our OL was tested GREATLY today, and they failed for the most part. They will be tested again next week by the Chargers, though they are not as stout as Philly.

If it is just a foot sprain like Andy said, then it should be okay here before too long I'd think. The problem is, Andy has a tendency to downplay injuries, especially in post-game pressers. He always calls the ACL injuries 'knee sprains'...

But surely they could diagnose the foot pretty fast.

Yeah, except for the whole we won the game thing.

Foot sprain could be everything from a minor soft tissue injury to Lisfranc.

Yeah, except for the whole we won the game thing.

No shit. The point he's making was that Alex got hit WAY too often and we couldn't run the ball the first three quarters to save our lives. They made the adjustments they had to when they needed to, though.

Yeah, except for the whole we won the game thing. Our offense struggled for most of the game because the offensive line wasn't playing well.

Don't say the L-word, we want no part of that. :(

I hope this isn't the start of one of those years when injuries kill a team.

I'm aware of that, I watched the game. But they came through when they needed to. This team doesn't give up. Both games they have played better in the 4th when they needed it. I'm not worried. Andy was playing chess with Pederson, and the teacher beat the student.

Fulton plays better center than guard.

But he's still Zach Fulton.

Jesus I didn't even think about lisfranc. That would suck shit.

As said, Fulton at center isn't the worst thing. Hunt has made the Ware injury sting less. The Berry injury will never fully be fixed.

How far out is Ehinger?

I seen he had 4 seconds for every play except one

Yep.

My first concern was Lisfranc. We're nowhere close to out of the woods there. It could be a week-long injury or he may never be right again and all points in between.

We know absolutely nothing right now.

A bad hoof on one of the big boys is never a good thing. Seems like they always take a long time to heal. I guess carrying 300+ pounds on an injured extremity slows the healing process. As others have said though, Fulton is very capable as a center and is a little bigger anchor.
