How did this happen? How did he not see her? I mean, he just blindly ran across the field assuming there would be no one there??

She rolls forward right before this happened. I'm guessing he lined up in front of the triangle, ran across, and didn't notice her roll forward.

Damn! It happened right in front of us and we missed it. We looked up in time to see her sitting on the ground and thought she had fallen.

The Chiefs are in the South? WTF

I think part of it is the outfit. The colors do not help. If you used Chargers colors they are automatically a little more attractive.

Missouri is South-ish. You should benefit from hottie immigration.

Denver and Kansas City have pretty much the exact same latitude. I've never heard anyone consider Missouri part of the south.

You haven't? I have, mainly because they were a slave state. Personally I've always thought them to be midwestern but I can see it.

I've heard a few people say it, though not commonly. I do have to say, though, that southern Missouri is infused with a lot of southern culture and philosophy. That's not the case for St. Louis and Kansas City. It's almost as if southern Missouri might be on the border of the South and the Midwest.

I've always liked this analysis of the cultural centers of the U.S. to be interesting.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/govbeat/wp/2013/11/08/which-of-the-11-american-nations-do-you-live-in/

Based on that, parts of Missouri could certainly be considered to be culturally similar to parts of the South.

Similar to the fact that Chicago is always considered to the the "midwest," regional names don't always make a ton of sense.

I think of it as South-ish even though I'm sure it's properly considered to be in the Midwest.

That makes sense. I was born on the Virginia Peninsula and identify with the Tidewater area.
