Debated posting this, but thought it may help someone on here save a few bucks.

Sunday, I went to the opener with a group of 10.

First quarter, and I flagged down a guy peddling Bud Lights. My order was for six. He confidently says "Seventy-Eight Dollars." I said, "no, that is not correct."

He then pointed to his pin showing a price of $9.75/beer, as if to say, "yeah, I know. They're expensive."

I explained to him that $9.75 x 6 does not equal $78. He played dumb for a while, then pulled out his phone to see that the multiplication didn't add up.

Later, a different vendor at halftime, parked at the top of the stairs selling Bud Lights out of a bin, short
Changed me by $16, and played ignorant when I pointed it out.

Heads up, guys. I have a feeling these guys make a killing in tips by overcharging people who were more intoxicated than me.

Consider this a PSA.

$10 beer is one of the reasons stadiums are having trouble finding asses in their seats

Rush Limbaugh (send this thread to DC now!) was talking about this today. As you can guess, he blames more Kaepernic than the beer prices. But he commented that the price to attend a game has gotten out of hand.

And the NFL is wondering why they are having problems getting butts in seats? As game ratings and attendance begin to slide, they need to review their model. Each franchise thinks they can charge what the Cowboys charge, and demand just isn't there.

I'm not sure about that, I am flat out amazed at the number of people who don't appear to have any problem whatosever with paying that amount.

You can probably smuggle a couple of those small shot bottles in around your dick

Some posters could probably fit a family pack of them inside the ol anus

At yankee stadium they were $8.50.

My record for smuggling beers in is 6 (Bully Pale, bottles).

In my heavy winter Chiefs coat: 2 in each sleeve, and one in each ski glove clipped to a belt loop. I did that many, many times during cold weather games.

Yup!

$50-$100 parking
$150 for preseason shit tickets
$10-15 beers or drinks
$10-15 hot dogs and burgers

For a day at the stadium for a family of four you could take them to Disneyworld instead!

Man, the lady next to us on Sunday was messed up on something. Her husband had to help her into her seat because she could barely stand, then she spent the entire 1st half trying to talk my friends wife into a 3-some.

Drunk lady and her husband left at half and we never saw em again. I'm all for drinking, but people overdo it at those games.

I wonder if her husband posts here?

I brought in multiple airport bottles last year. It's easy as can be, especially since the winter is all padding.

Or, you could fill up a water bottle with vodka, then enjoy your sprite a la mode.

This is why I appreciate what Atlanta has done. Cheaper food, reasonable prices and they'll stay that way even for the Superbowl and NCAA national championship. Beer is still expensive there, but at least they came down on the food/soda prices for families.

$10 for something that cost them 60 cents.

No greed to see here!

Double layer ziplock bags filled with your favorite whiskey.

Double bag because the liquor will eat through the bag seams and you will end the up with smelly wet pants.

I went to my first Arrowhead game, last Sunday, in years...I was amazed at the prices for everything. It took me almost until halftime to get over being pissed off about the overt price gouging. It was disgusting...the greed.

I'm not joking...they sell a large cup of spiced french fries with a cup of cheese sauce for $11. Cotton candy is $8.50.

Donovan keeps on about improving the fan "experience"...how about starting with not making everyone feel like they are getting financially anal-raped...just to eat during a game? $60 parking?

$9.50 for a $.75 bud light (store cost)...is almost a 1300% mark up.

It just felt evil....

Yes, the beer is priced at an insanely high level. It's a ripoff.

The point of the thread is to alert people though that the vendors may be further ripping you off if you aren't paying attention. Maybe add a calculator watch to the zubaz outfit next time.

I rarely spend a dime once I walk into Arrowhead. I eat and drink in the parking lot. Sometimes in extremely cold weather I'll buy a hot chocolate, which is like ten bucks. But in decent weather rarely spend any money at all inside the stadium.

That's what I'm talking about...it's so bad that fans have to figure out how to skirt the pricing....sneak booze in or eat right before entering.

They've made so you HAVE to buy something ridiculously over-priced or have nothing.

The NFL needs to reel that in...or people are going to just stay home.

1:
-Bring gallon size Ziploc bag and duct tape to tailgate
-Fill Ziploc up with whiskey
-Tape bag to your leg
-Walk in past security
-Remove taped bag in mens room
-Buy 4 dollar coke and ask for a water cup
-Mix Ziploc whiskey with coke
-Profit

2:
-Empty plastic water bottle
-Pour vodka into water bottle
-Apply non-toxic glue to water bottle seal
-Let sit until dry
-Walk by stadium security and make the "cracking" sound when asked to open water bottle
-Buy 4 dollar Coke and water cup
-Mix Vodka into Coke

This is what I did when I used to go to games with my Uncle in the 90's. We'd both drink beer at the back of this truck, and grill some sausage before going in and never have anything in the stadium. The only time I ever got mad at him was when I asked him to bring the flask of Hot Damn into the stadium with him during the Colts playoff game (the frigid Kicker Who Shall Not be Named Game). I got searched and he didn't. In the second half, he told me he wished he'd bought that damn bottle in with him. I was mad, but not very because he never made me pay for my ticked, etc., and we usually went to the casino afterwards.

Pfft... the biggest rip off is the 2 bucks a pop they gig kids in the outfield for doing things at Royals games. 2 bucks to do pop a shot. 2 bucks to run the bases. 2 bucks to throw 5 pitches. ridiculous.
