Going to be fun.

I'm going to the Oakland game. We better kick their ass. My brother is a Raider season tix holder.

Not an easy road for Oakland and Denver who both lost today, and play each other in Denver next week.

I have hesitated saying this all night - but anyone else wonder if T Hill is 100% healthy? I was scared i'd get shelled by saying that - but it seems he's slowed a few steps. Honestly what everyone says about SD I mean LA is true, they're VERY talented w/o a nose for closing.

We got ****ed by the schedule makers. Playing our toughest game in the late slot, then playing a game in Oakland halfway across the country 4 days later?

He's fine, they are just giving him routes other than "go deep"

Washington will be tough. I think we can do it, though. MNF at home.

Houston and Dallas are the games I'm most afraid of (shorter week by one day, have to go on the road in each game).

We're not going undefeated, so there will be some losses in that stretch. 4-2 or 3-3 will be good enough, though.

Outside of that one terrible week (keep in Mind we hosted oakland on a short week last year) we have one of the more favorable schedules of the year in terms of timing between games.

Yeah but San Diego - I mean LA were pretty stout in coverage, I was surprised. Truly a better team than that 0-3 record, no doubt there.

The Dallas rookies have clearly hit a sophomore slump and their defense is garbage.

The defense picked off Rivers three times today. They won't lose to fucking DeShaun Watson.

San Diego is poorly coached and couldn't take advantage of field position or the Chiefs mistakes.

The Chiefs played like shit for the better part of 3 quarters and still won by two touchdowns on the road.

San Diego fucking sucks.

Being at the game I watched him a couple times and a couple of times he was visibly gimpy after a deep route. He didn't seek assistance and no one came to his aid so maybe he just walks like that after a long route but it was noticeable.

Stay healthy?

They're missing their starting left guard and starting center.

For the better part of the day, Witzmann and Fulton were liabilities.

I need someone to explain to me how Fulton is better than Devey because I'm not seeing it.

He was definitely banged up, hence the reliance on Wilson and DAT.

DAT was knocked out of the game, too, IIRC.

3-3 would be fine (that's 6-3 with a much easier schedule coming up).

4-2 would be sweet.

The Raiders and Cowboys games will be especially tough, short weeks on the road against top teams. Beating Pittsburgh would be nice for a change. The weird thing about that game is we will still have no idea what kind of team they are regardless of their record coming in. They will have played the Browns, Case Keenum, the Bears, Ravens and Jags. Not a single game vs a contender to give us any kind of barometer. Allegedly they always play down to their opponent -- or maybe they're just not so good this year. Big Ben looks every bit like a guy who seriously considered retirement.

The way we are playing I would be surprised if we only went 3-3. 4-2 or even 5-1 is what I would expect based on a team that has won 25 of the last 29 regular season games.

I'd expect to win all the home games plus 1 or 2 of the road games.

Carr gets jittery with the slightest of pressure. He quit on his team last game.

I see two to three losses in there. It's a brutal stretch, regardless of home vs away games. If we end up 7-2 after that, I'll be happy, if we're 6-3 or less it means someone figured Reid's game out or heaven forbid, injury.

Bet that Dallas game gets flexed to SNF

I don't think that they flex games that early in the season. But, if they did, that would be bad for the Chiefs. They are already on a short week with a Thursday night road game to Chokeland. A Sunday night game would be horrible at that point. One other thing. There is a maximum on prime time games for teams. I'm not sure that we are even eligible for any more prime time games this year.

I found this on flex scheduling. Apparently, 2 games can be flexed in weeks 5-10.

In 2006 the NFL implemented a primetime "flexible scheduling" element on Sundays in Weeks 10-15 and in Week 17. In 2014 that was extended so that games between Weeks 5 and 17 could be affected by flex scheduling. However, only two games may be flexed into Sunday Night between Week 5 and 10.

All these will be tough, but Chiefs won't fall til Dallas. Jazzed Cowboys and raucous house take down the 8-0 Chiefs.

Redskins: narrow, physical win.
Houston: similar to Chargers game. Grind, win by capitalizing on mistakes.
Pitt: Raucous Arrowhead, revenge, out of sync Steelers O, Smith recalls an entire offseason of sh*t talk, 10+ win.
Oak: Come on, really? Fearing a team and coach that Reid and Sutton flat-out own?
Den: Primetime. Deafening roar. Siemian visibly shaking from recurring nightmares of 50. 2 TD margin.
