Watching NFL Network and they threw up the Week 4 injury reports on the scroll at the bottom and it said LT Eric Fisher DNP because of his back? Hadn't heard Fisher was having any issues -- anyone have more info?

Back injury that didn't get better thru the week. Very concerning

He was limited on Thursday, and was apparently still out there on the field Friday despite not participating, so hoping it's just precautionary.

God I hope he's okay. Redskins, Texans and then Steelers. We need him.

At least Ehinger and Morse are due to be back soon.

If Fisher is out and Ehinger isn't ready, what's the lineup? Schwartz, Devey, Fulton, Witzmann and Erving?

This is gonna have to be a fine performance from Andy's playbook. With this OL facing that pass rush, Andy will surely be running a ton of plays on the move.

Cam Erving would step in as starting LT if Fisher is out. Would probably not be a good day.

This team is injury prone. Ware out, Berry out and now our LT probably won't play and back shit is bad. Real bad and won't heal over night.

Chiefs could be without LT Eric Fisher, LB Dee Ford against Redskins

Uh-oh. The Kansas City Chiefs are missing starting LT Eric Fisher from practice, according to Friday’s practice report. Fisher popped up limited on the first injury report this week with a back injury which is always an ominous injury listing with 6’7, 300-plus pound players. Then on day two, he didn’t practice at all.

Just great. We would spend two first round picks on left tackles in a decade and end up having them both be injury prone.

Fisher isn't going to get healthier as he gets older, either.

The defense is going to have to step up. Will be hard to do with ZOMBO in there. Maybe we finally see KPass instead of cement-footed Zombo?

We definitely need to upgrade the O line for extra depth in the offseason.

Gunna be without our starting LT, C, OLB, S, CB & K...

Losing Fisher is awful. Really gunna hamstring us offensively.

Losing Ford is awful. Zombo provides zero pass rush. This is where we really miss Tamba. Huge loss.

Eric Fisher has played in 62 of 67 regular season games and hasn't missed a start since 2015.

I could drive an 18 wheeler through both of your cavernous, bloody vaginas.

Yeah but he's always been kinda nicked up, and missed a good chunk of preseason at least one year IIRC.

This is something to watch as he gets older.

It happens to left tackles all around the league.

Fisher is no exception.

Branden Albert was the same way. He started 60 of his first 64 games until being a guy who was prone to getting nicked up eventually turned into worse and worse injuries.

Did not see Dee Ford, Eric Fisher or Mitch Morse on field at start of practice. Kevin Pierre-Louis was back out there.

Good bet that Ford and Fisher are both out this week. Ehinger has practiced in full for 2 straight weeks. Bet we see his debut.

Overreaction Planet. Until Reid says Fisher is out for Monday night, this is all speculation. If Fisher has a sore back or back spasms, it makes sense that he wouldn't practice. They would want him in the training room getting treatment not standing around putting pressure on his back.

We definitely need to upgrade the O line for extra depth in the offseason.

What's wrong with it now? Fulton and Witzmann have been serviceable, which is all you can ask from a backup OL. They also have Erving on the bench in case of further injury.

Same with Ford's back too I guess. Rest them and then Monday hopefully they can lower the pain enough with pain killers and shit to where they can play.

Morse definitely out again though. But Fulton is a decent center.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Fisher and Ford will definitely play. It's just all the "Fisher is definitely out" and "Fisher is injury prone" nonsense that is becoming typical of CP threads these days is becoming annoying.

Losing Ford would hurt more than Fisher IMO. Need to be able to pressure Cousins or he can sustain drives and make plays and keep our O off the field.

Chiefs can't through a season without losing 2-3 crucial players.

That's why they say the SB champs have to have a lot of luck. They avoid injuries.

The Pats didn't have their starting LT for the entire season or Gronk for almost half the year and in the playoffs.

So if Fisher can't go...Erving replaces Fisher and the rest is the same?
