they're both having good seasons, I don't think it's by that much, if he even is, at all.

Both a tad inconsistent with people staunchly on both the hate and obsessed sides. A tie in my eyes.

Alex doesn't have ADD, ADHD or whatever it is that makes claynus the annoying, impulsive man child he is that can't help be an ass 50% of his presence.

I'm the Eli Manning of posting. I make a lot of dumb mistakes, but occasionally I do something magnificent. A stat padder for sure.

So is Alex Smith better than Eli Manning? Maybe, but he's sure as shit not retiring with 200,000 posts and two rings.

If you had asked about Clay as a highlight video creator, I would have said Clay. Hands down. But as a poster, he sucks. So I voted for Alex.

You can't have the sweet without the sour, friend.

You want Alex Smith's gorgeous pre-determined deep balls and scrambling ability? You're going to have to take the checkdowns and designed sacks.

By the way, I do NOT suck as a poster. This is elite posting. (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=261629)

That was the equivalent of winning a Super Bowl MVP on Chiefsplanet. AND ONE ONE CAN EVER, EVER TAKE IT AWAY!!!

You can make the argument that one of them shouldn't even be allowed to be around at this point if not a looooong time ago.

Based on Clay's dating thread, he has a lot more time to put better effort in towards this board.

However, he's still better than Alex Smith. Not elite forum board talent though, but top of 2nd tier for sure.

Not really. You have been the Alex Smith of this board. You started out with a lot of promise. You showed flashes of greatness from time to time. But every time that we thought that you could become a difference maker, you would checkdown to sad hateful pouting posts. But this year, since we drafted Mahomes, you have stepped up and and you are currently having your best year in a long time. Face it man. Clay=Alex Smith

incorrect - he started 'off' with zero promise nor flashes of greatness, you're just a n00b or, rather; you didn't log in much way back when, in '05.

His ass is gone from this team no matter what he does. Even if the Chiefs win a Super Bowl.

If he loses another playoff game ("all he does is win!!!") in the first round or divisional round, whichever comes first, his name will leave the same odious stench that Bono's does.

Only 12.5 thousand posts til you retire? At your post rate that's the same as announcing this as your final season.

I voted Alex knowing full well having him pushing Clay from behind would result in better production from Clay.

Read that as you will...
