Houston was walking and laughing on the sidelines immediately after the report of his injury.

I'm not concerned and you shouldn't be either.

Props to the Chiefs for holding him out because of that.

Maybe the NFL needs to check out their independent physicians to see how they missed that.

I was wondering about that, too. Is it possible that some symptoms like memory loss can seep in after a little more time? Don't know exactly how it works.

Never played football, but I have had two concussions in my life and both times I got a burst of energy after the initial stunning that made people think I was okay for a short time and then the effects became obvious about 15 minutes later. It might be that he was actually pretty sharp in the tent, went back out and then faded a bit later.

You can't replace guys like ___________________.
Larry Johnson? Jamaal Charles? Joe Montana? Brett Favre?

Not long ago nobody knew who the hell Hunt, Kelce, and Hill were...

Now, I wouldn't want to lose any of those guys... but there is always talent in the pool awaiting their opportunity. Next man up!

Happened to me once. Was playing in a flag football tourney and went up for a TD grab when someone undercut my legs, causing me to backflip onto my head and neck.

I got up, asked where I was... and thought "cool, lets go play football!"

Just so happened I was playing against the local Hospitals team, so I had a bunch of EMT's surrounding me refusing to let me play, and then they enforced I go to the hospital.

I do remember instantly thinking I was fine, and had a burst of energy to get back on the field. I didn't start feeling dizzy until the drive to the hospital.

Well, sure, that's a fine philosophy if we're talking about the long-term. But we're talking about a Super Bowl run this year, so losing any of those three guys would be pretty major.

Perhaps, but field turf makes the ground harder than regular grass. When your head goes down and wacks the turf, it's a more solid surface for your head to impact.

If it gets much softer players are going to get their feet stuck and tear up their knees more than they already are.

I've long thought that they should try and come up with a softer surface. If players have too much of an issue with their cleats getting caught, then maybe they should restrict what type of cleats are allowed.

Wrong. It is a softer surface than dirt.

Were you on the K-State Crop Judging title team or something? I would imagine the hardness & density of dirt depend on quite a few different factors. Not all dirt is the same, no?
