It's an errant throw from your receiver catching a wide open TD and your star player going down with a season ending injury all because your QB didn't see the dude open. And nowhere is it more fleeting than in officiating. These fucking assholes have a tough job, but there are times where they don't even TRY to get the call fucking right. I mean, for fuck's sake... defensive pass interference is just GIVING the receiver the goddamn yardage at the point of contact? You make a bad call there as a ref, THAT shit is way fucking worse than 15 yards of unsportsmanlike conduct.

Yet we just let that shit go because every team has to deal with it, and it sucks when it happens to you, but that's just the way it goes, right? It's a great equalizer and the key is to not do it to yourself? Pass interference is such a hit-or-miss call that who are you to decide that the rare gem from Kelce that costs us 15 yards is too statistically valuable when not turning your head an extra 10 degrees as a CB is enough to cost your team 30 or even 40+ yards on a single play?
