On paper this looks like an easy Chiefs win. But coming off a short week with a banged up roster and Oakland literally being as desperate as any team is for a win right now I can see this going to the Raiders.

KC wins 31:17. They win. They have to win because they play against the Raiders and they have to show that the 5:0-Strike was not lucky and they are better than the first half against the Steelers. I'm sure the Chiefs will give the answer on Thursday (or Friday night if you watch in Europe) :D

50% chance of rain in Oakland Thursday night. If it rains all during the game, then Oakland probably wins in a low scoring game, like they did the last time they managed to beat us there. If the rain holds off, KC will most likely win, guess at the score of 24 - 17 KC.

The Chiefs are the better team, but I really think the Thursday night format favors the home team. Short week, plus having to travel...could cost us the game.

Still, I'll take 5-2 at this point in the season.

Completely agree with this. I remember pretty much the same situation a couple years ago when the Raiders were winless IIRC, and it did not end well.

On November 20, 2014, the Raiders snapped a 16-game losing streak in Oakland against the Chiefs while Kansas City was in a four-game winning streak the week after the Chiefs defeated the defending Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks. The loss ended up costing Kansas City a playoff berth.

Imagine being a co-pilot with reerun and being stuck in the cockpit with a bulletproof locked door. Just you and him for maybe hours depending on the flight. I've read that no reading material except flying manual is allowed.

Being stuck with this schtick would probably make anyone shoot themselves in the head or just bust the window and jump out of the damn plane mid flight.

Actually, I've talked with him several times before; and would gladly do a co-pilot/jumpseat trip with him in a Challenger or Falcon or even a King Air.

The Chiefs lose to teams we should beat and win against those we shouldn't. Oakland can be the same way.

I say we lose just because of that factor if not all the other reasons.

I love being wrong when it comes to beating the Raiders.

Good news, His plane doesn't have BP cockpit doors, Only commercial planes do. Someone can breath easier knowing they don't have to jump.

"...because the Raiders defense is so bad"

actually, except for allowing 3rd down conversions, the Chiefs D is worse (I Was surprised to see this. could be due to Pats, Eagles and Skins garbage time drives. Oh, and LeVeon Bell.)

Under Andy Reid, KC has never lost a Non-TNF road game to a team with a losing record.

We're fine. This team hasn't lost to a losing team since week 5, 2015. Narrative needs to die

This game means more. We are playing a team that was picked to win the division. We don't have Bowl and Avery anymore. We have Kelce and Hill, and a good quarterback

Chiefs had this game circled all year. I don't think anyone sees 2-4 Raiders and takes them lightly. Not yet.

KC gets off to a quick 3 or more TD lead and then backs off. Oakland gets some garbage time points to make the score closer than it really was...but KC wins easy

And the Saints are worried about us? why?

If you think this is a walk in the park you are full of it... They will be out there fighting to save their season and certainly have the tools to shut us down or they wouldn't have been rated above us.

I say it will be KC's special teams or the defense that win it

Please stay positive. 5:1 is not so bad. Yes we have weaknesses in the defense and Smith gets a lot of pressure. But he threw no Interception despite the pressure. The impressions of the Steelers game are fresh and the first half was a horror. But we have still the best QB, the best Rusher, maybe the best TE (I think he is the best) and good Receivers. Most NFL teams would change with our offense. I'm sure that we beat the Raiders.
