Is he a lunch pail type player?

I wouldn’t be disappointed if they went out and traded a conditional pick or a player for him. I like Ward.

Dirty as shit player. But if he wins us games....

He played in pettines system with Cleveland and was solid in the box. Also why not look into don't whitner. Worst case bring them in as a back up in case Murray never improves

Browns do like their draft picks. Get him for a 6th and I'm game. Speaking of game though, this is more of a madden move. In the end I like us not making knee-jerk moves and making sure we are building for the future as well as the present. In that light making a move to add to the safety might not be the right call.

I also don't know about what his contract is or it's cap impact, which would be my biggest concern(outside of not giving up real draft-capital).

If they can get a draft pick for a player they haven't had in like 5 years that would be some amazing Houdini shit.

Still great against the run but sucks in coverage. Pick your poison:shrug:

Being great against the run sounds better than taking it in the pooper in every direction.

TJ Ward is a Buccaneer.

But read the news he's not happy with playing time

The one thing a guy like Ward might bring is some physicality to the defense. Ever since Berry got hurt, our edge just hasn't been all that prevalent. However, I likely don't think he would be an upgrade in coverage. He's struggled there the past few years by my eye.

and there is a reason and especially on a Tampa defense that sucks. He should be playing tons which say's a lot about how far he has dropped off maybe?

The Raiders picked up Bowmann and that made the difference in last weeks game.

A boost to the KC defense is needed.

Not trying to :Poke: here but not really. Yes he made a play or two but there was a reason he was let go and we will see very soon in due time why.:hmmm:

They already had 2 pretty good safety guys, so I was a bit surprised he picked Tampa to begin with.

Vacarro is the all in safety target. Expiring contract, young player. Try him out and if he works it's a building block for the future. Price shouldn't be too high. Mostly depends on if the Saints wash out in the NFC if assume.
