He sucks. Another Bowe. If they paid him he'd weight 490 by training camp.

Wow. That's a surprise. Panthers must be tired of Benjamin always being dinged up.

With Newton's scattershot arm, guys with massive catch radius's are pretty critical for him and while Benjamin didn't do a lot, he was at least a big target.

I almost wonder if they aren't trying to send a bit of a message to a team that appears to be getting a little complacent.

But good luck trying to turn Funchess into a legitimate #1 receiver...

And that Bills game just got a lot harder.

Sheesh. Other than Dallas, that MIGHT be our hardest game.

Since the calendar turned 2017, the Bills have traded the following assets:

QB Cardale Jones
WR Sammy Watkins
CB Ronald Darby
LB Reggie Ragland
CB Kevon Seymour
DT/DE Marcell Dareus
2018 3rd round pick
2018 6th round pick
2018 7th round pick

And they have received:

A conditional pick for Cardale Jones, probably a 6th or 7th rounder
2018 2nd round pick
2018 3rd round pick
2018 6th round pick
2019 4th round pick
2019 7th round pick
CB EJ Gaines
WR Jordan Matthews
WR Kelvin Benjamin

All of that was done through 5 trades. That's not even counting the trades they made on draft day (3 of them)

I'm not gonna do the math on cap room. They probably saved a bit on Dareus and Watkins, but probably not all that much.

Obviously it depends on who is in charge when making those draft pick selections, but I think I'd rather have the Bills' total haul. Again, this assumes that my GM isn't just pulling shit out of his ass when it comes to the draft.

More than likely, they're gunning for a QB, although I do have to say, they picked the wrong fucking year to do it

Seems to me like you're forgetting a rather large trade they were involved in.

I'm going to make a prediction on who will be the Bills QB in 2018:

That is not crazy. I bet they are considering not giving him a large deal. He's a big immature baby.

Price was too high for us, and not sure he would have been a perfect fit. I would have liked to see us swing a 7th for Pryor maybe. He's done absolutely nothing with the Redskins, would only cost us half his $6m for the rest of the year and if he shows a spark in our offense there's still no way he will get the big pay day he was looking for.

No way Reid ever brings in a WR who doesn't know his system and give him significant minutes without an off-season of work.

Only thing we should have traded for was defensive help. Too bad the FO sat on their hands and did nothing. Their fault, IMO, if this team is 1 and done in the post-season again. The team clearly needs hep on defense in both the front-7 and the secondary but they didn't do anything about it.

They could have easily swung a deal for Ward, or someone similar, who would have made a difference for this team.

There was a comical play this week where he was too lazy to put any effort into catching a sure touchdown. Supposedly he won't put the work in and is out of shape. Sounds like he was pissed about being traded to Buffalo in the first place.

Dude was trash from the go. He wasn't even good on a Panthers team that had shit for receivers; Cam literally just used to force feed him the ball souping up his stats.

let's not bring him in for a look.

But I kinda wish we made a deal for Golden Tate since he was available and we weren't getting nothing for defense so may as well have.

I'd love to hire McDermott as our defensive coordinator when Buffalo cans him

Wouldn't you be? lol

I'd even rather play in CLE than BUF.

BUF is the worst god damn city to play/live in the NFL.

Not saying the Panthers trading him to BUF wasn't warranted. He's obviously a fat lazy pos and if you have beef w/ the team's franchise QB, you're probably going to get traded rather than rattle a locker room.

Seems like more and more players get their big payday and then say "fuck it, I got mine so no need to break my balls anymore."

All these huge guaranteed contracts are ridiculous. Only gonna get worse. Especially with things like CTE and all the damn injuries.

This is an underrated post.

Second choice would be Todd Bowles.

I wouldn't mind him in D Harris' role.
