Its the Battle of the Birds!
Gotta root for Arizona here, can Drew Stanton really be any worse than Palmer and his arm held together with duct tape?
Also, I hate dynasties that dont involve the Chiefs... and just really dont like Pete Carroll, there is just something so incredibly douchey about that guy

Any thoughts on your new LT?
Sorry to root against your boys, but you've enjoyed plenty of success lately and I'm SICK of it! :D

Love our Left Tackle so far, unfortunately our right tackle is terrible, along with both guards. Any other QB would be literally dead right now.
Defense looks good, if we can eek out a bye we will have a shot at the big game. Rams look good though. We get Atlanta, Philly at home (night games that we rarely lose) and the Rams here( we already beat them in their house.
Destiny is in our hands!
Dion Jordan is playing tonight for the first time since 2014. looking forward to see what hes got

Didn't you guys sign Joeckel for RT, is he not working out there?
Yeah the Rams, we knew they had some defense and a few players on offense... but I doubt many seen them looking like they have lately, they've become a threat out of the blue

We did sign Joeckel and he was working out well at left guard, but he is out a month for a knee issue, they cleaned up som cartiledge during the bye.
No Earl Thomas tonight either, our secondary takes a steep drop when Earl is out, probably similar to when you lose Berry.

Oh Lawd, not good news about Thomas... the difference a stud safety makes is almost impossible to over state

I agree with him. By Thursday NFL players bodies are still healing. NFL talks how they care so much about player's safety but the whole TNF completely contradicts that.

I saw somewhere yesterday that the number of ACL tears so far this season is nearly equal to all of the last season. Some people are associating it with cleat design and how they grab the turf better on lateral movements, which the human leg is not naturally built for. Hopefully, cleat design is soon studied as much as helmet design.

Do Achilles injuries heal like a typical sprain?
Or is it more like a UCL, where once there is a slight tear it's just a matter of time before it blow?

They try to repair themselves-it creates really bad scar tissue. But can shred in the process.
I have had heel spurs. I know I talked about it when DJ got hurt.
Doc intentionally cut Achilles. Ground off the heel bone. Reattached it with bands and screws.
He said I had one that was being shredded by rubbing on the bone. Sucks to get old.

Look man, I understand that Wentz is awesome, that he is possibly the league MVP right now... what I am saying, is that based on Mahomes potential, I would not trade him for Wentz
His ceiling might be even higher than Wentz, some of the throws he makes almost defy description
And I say all that as someone who for years, has stated a preference for huge 6'5 240-250 QBs in the Roethlisberger mold, guys who can still make a stick throw even with defenders hanging all over them
Best22

The Seahawks only give a shit about player safety when it benefits them. They didn't put Russell Wilson through proper consuccion protocol because they were playing a tight game and needed him in there.
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21384389/seattle-seahawks-violated-concussion-protocol-allowing-russell-wilson-re-enter-game
The Seahawks are expected to face consequences because once an official removed Wilson from the game to be examined, the star quarterback was required to go through the protocol, and he did not.
The NFL and NFL Players Association will jointly review the situation, interview members of the Seahawks organization early this week and come to a decision within the next couple of weeks, according to a source.
More at the link if you give a shit.
