Because of one loss on the road? In college football, there is a big difference between playing at home vs. on the road.

Iowa football is very profitable.

Some days I want him gone. Like after Purdue. Or the last three bowl games.

Then Iowa comes out and looks like they could kill anyone. Or goes 12-0. Or beats OSU.

KF never gets a top twenty recruiting class. He hardly changes what he does. He gets his players.

But if you want to be a lineman and play in the NFL-Go to Iowa. Iowa players do very well in the NFL.

I just hate giving away stupid losses.

Id take Oklahoma over Miami if it came down to them fighting for the last spot.

Ive watched a few Miami games this year and their O really does suck. As bad as that QB Rozier is its surprising they won 10 games.

'Hamas' Jenkins

To go back to the Miami game, this is the fire they've been playing with all year. Rosier is a god-awful quarterback, even for the college level, and them staying with him all year has been tempting fate. He sucked ass against most of the good teams they played, but the players around him have been just good enough to pull them up to where they were able to squeak by, but they couldn't do it today.

We were watching the Ole Miss v Miss State game last night because my youngest daughters bf goes to Ole Miss as is in town so we had the game on. The qb with the broken leg was brutal. But equally as brutal was... my 3 year old grand daughter was at the house, and Will (my youngests bf) says to her "say hottie totty" which I guess is an Ole Miss saying. She looks at him and says "GAAATORS, go Gators!!" Omg, we were dying.

No offense to Nebraska, but this would be a bad choice for Frost when UCLA and Florida have openings.

They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Solich and Pelini were average at best coaches who went a combined 125-46. UCLA ia great from a geographic recruiting standpoint but hasnt won anything except a conference title in 1998. Florida would be the toughest. They fired their coach who made it to the conference title game the last 2 years. Their last great coach had to fake a heart attack because he couldnt compete with Saban.

Nebraska doesn’t necessarily need to finish undefeated to compete for a spot in the College Football Playoff, that is the benefit of being in a Power 5 Conference.

Whereas UCF can finish undefeated and still have zero shot at the College Football Playoff.

You refuse to accept the reality that coaching at UCF means that Frost will have zero shot at winning a National Championship. The fact that UCF is 11-0 and not even in the top 10 in the CFP rankings is Exhibit A of this fact.

They are the most talented team, but Saban's archaic 3-4 and his penchant for game managers allow teams with far less talent to hang around and beat them.

Nobody is saying the school or the coaches are trash. Saying the program has the area on lock is a bit much before it happens.

If FSU pulls in someone like a Taggart (who wants out of Oregon), than they have some strong comp. We're saying maybe settle the **** down some and see what happens. Sorry if that compels you to be a flaming ****....actually, not really.

I’m not even saying they’re going to lock down the entire state. I’m talking about South Florida. It’s not a ridiculous thing to say at all if you have any ****ing knowledge on the subject.

Also, you say “before it happens” though it’s a fact that it’s alrady started. Good god you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about and are failing to at least acknowledge that. Like I said, I’m willing to bet you pay absolutely no attention to South Florida recruiting, and that’s fine, but admit it.

Excellent rebuttal. You’re clearly more knowledgeable on the subject than I thought.

Please , tell me more about your hidden knowledge on South Florida recruiting.

I've already typed it out dude.

I'm not claiming to be an expert. I'm claiming that you're just a stupid ass homer.

The only thing you’ve “typed out” about it is absolutely irrelevant at this point. The Hurricanes are already taking control of their backyard and it’s not even a question, yet here you are calling me a homer for it.

It’s fucking ridiculous.

Maybe going to A&M, maybe not. Don't take anything official until an official announcement with how much a certain agent loves to generate more $$$.

Holy fucking shit dude. This is the last fucking time I am going to reply to your stupid fucking ass on this subject and than I am done.

I said wait and see the actual official results first, as nothing is official until it's actually official. "Locking down" anything, anywhere in this current era of old rich guys swooning young boys (with bags of money) is incredibly hard to do.

You lost your fucking mind over that concept. Now shut the fuck up.

I guess there’s absolutely no point in talking about anything in the future then. As if you’ve never had a take with conviction that somebody can say that about. That’s a cop out akin to “I have nothing else to bring to this debate”.

There it is. That's pretty amazing. Fan revolt online makes a difference.

Ahhh..... the glory days of SOC during that time was amazing.

I think this is probably on a whole different level. It's one thing to get rid of a coach or GM who is failing. They prevented a coaching hire within a few hours of being announced. I can't think of another example close to this.
