We should never have extended Reid in the first place. If Hunt wanted to fire Dorsey then he should have fired Dorsey and Reid. Reid is a 'back into the playoffs' level coach, always will be. The only way he will be more than that is if he gets people around him that take some control away from him and do more with it.

I remember the rumors in Philadelphia about Andy being mad because McNabb would improvise a lot and even change the plays. That's what led to Reid trading him away. In Philadelphia, Reid had a dominant Defensive coordinator and a QB that told him to fuck off. We have neither of those things so Reid won't ever be more than a borderline playoff coach.
