Quick question: Why is the narrative always "yeah Mahomes may throw a couple a picks a game..."?

Looking over his numbers the past few years, at the very worst he's 8 passes/game more likely to throw a pick than Alex.

Eight pass difference warrants the narrative he's just throwing shit up anywhere and everywhere he can, rather than being the game manager Alex is?

Which was false but they wanted to keep the Favre comparison going. Mahomes did throw some stupid passes but they were often late in a game where his defense was giving up 50 points and he needed to score every drive.
