Unless there has been a solid Christmas movie made in the last three years, this nomination thread and poll thread from 2014 should still reflect CP's opinion on Christmas movies.

The Godfather. My favorite movie that’s not as much of a Christmas movie but is still a Christmas movie is The Godfather Part II. Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story are virtually tied for third, with a slight edge given year to year to whichever one annoys my wife more.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

Was so good, I headed off to Universal to take the kid to see the Grinch just like she would visit Santa at the mall. He was snapping and snarling at them all too.
Was wonderful!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a classic movie (damn I miss John Candy) but I think of it more as a Thanksgiving movie and not so much a Christmas one.
