There are some interesting numbers within the snap count chart from yesterday.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefs</a> snap counts vs the Raiders <a href="https://t.co/yf5IPV9AEs">pic.twitter.com/yf5IPV9AEs</a></p>&mdash; Nick Jacobs (@Jacobs71) <a href="https://twitter.com/Jacobs71/status/940216756655804419?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 11, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Things that stand out to me:
- Darrelle Revis logged 92% of the snaps, while Mitchell and Nelson played 100%.
- Tamba Hali played 49% of the defensive snaps, 2nd most of all OLBs on the team. Zombo played 38%, while KPass played 25%.
- The defensive line shows some surprising numbers. Chris Jones lead the DL with 77% of the snaps, while Bailey logged 49%. Where it gets interesting though is behind those two.... Jarvis Jenkins played 43% of the defensive snaps, and Bennie Logan played just 15% (9 snaps). RNR played 15 snaps, or 25%.

Just looking at these numbers, it would seem that Bennie Logan has been more or less benched. This is surprising because I actually didn't think he was playing terribly. Credit to Jenkins though, who stepped up big yesterday when presented the opportunity.

Also, Hali being 2nd in snaps behind Houston is quite encouraging. I still don't believe he is getting enough snaps, but at least we are seeing them begin to work him in steadily. That will be critical going forward because he is our best option at ROLB...

Hopefully these changes continue to reap rewards, and the defense continues to play with the fire and passion we saw yesterday. It will be needed Saturday night if they want to contain Phil Rivers and his weaponry.

I saw multiple changes. First play of the game the entire DL had their hand in the ground on their get off.

How much of the above is not having Peter's: a big lead and forcing them into passing situations. I am guessing if they were able to pound Lynch, Logan would have have logged a higher %. If Peters was not suspended Mitchel/and or Nelson would have dropped like a rock.

The Raider O Line was dominated by the Chiefs. Would hope that it was due to n improvement by KC but given the number of teams we have dominated their O Lines have to think the Raiders just have a crappy OLine.

This KPass transition will fail.

If we're moving him to LB we should move him to ILB and make him our Levon Kirkland...

was it just me or did Terrell play really well? Aside from that big hit that knocked the ball out

Faid couldn't get 1st downs to establish a ground game earlier. Made them one dimensional hence all the secondary snaps

I always felt pretty meh about Logan. I get not wanting to take a flyer on poe . I don't understand looking for a pure space eater. Always thought our D looked sharp when Jaye Howard who isn't a traditional nose tackle was in.

I don't know that those numbers relate to any change on our part as far as philosophy or design. They do reflect the way that the game went due to the energy that the team brought. Those numbers likely would look quite different if the game had of went a different direction.

Shocked that Bennie Logan didn't turn out to be Ted Washington 2.0. Shocked, I say!

We need to line up Chris Jones and Justin Houston on the outside on every 3rd down

Peters didn’t side step any tackles. That’s a plus for the D.

I keep reading DJ getting more time off. 70% is still a lot of snaps.

Wish Mitch Holtus would take more time off.

Bennie Logan needs to only play in the 3-4 package.

He's only on a 1 year deal. Hopefully, we find a good upgrade for him in the off-season.
