Sub-zero temps are rare. Seems like once a year or so there will be a few days that dip down into single digits. Most of winter daily highs are above freezing.

These past couple years haven't been bad. It hovers around 5-10 degrees for a week, but usually the high throughout the depths of winter is 20-25. Mornings are fucking hell though. If you have a 7am job and you park your car outside, you're fucked. You're getting up and scraping windows a lot.

I've never done that with the pool before but it makes sense.
I usually run the pool pump during the ON peak time because we need to use solar credits from 12-7 every day. I'll switch it up through this cold spell and run at night.
