The part of me that likes to dream had hope but, no, I really didn't either. This loss would have destroyed me 5 years ago but right now I'm sort of "meh" about the whole thing. Chiefs got jobbed on some calls but there is no way the team should have been down ever in this game regardless of Tripplette being a moron.

Mahomes will be a huge upgrade from Alex Smith's best season. He will have to battle Andy in the playoffs but eventually Andy will be gone too. I just hope we don't waste too much of our core on the years Andy is around since we all know he will never ever EVER win anything.
