Man, I would be shocked if Alex Smith is back. I guess it is a possibility if the market for him is really not what we think it is and Reid and Veach think Mahomes still is not ready.

I feel like next year would be the perfect conditions for Mahomes. Hill starting his prime, Kelce right in his prime and before a possible decline soon, the young WRs Robinson, Conley and Wilson entering their prime, the Oline right in its prime. Oh and Kareem Hunt probably starting his prime too.

You go and add a decent free agent WR, and possibly draft or add an Oline (LG?) and TE.

I mean even Tyler Bray could be half decent with that surrounding group, no?

2 first round picks and half a rookie contract wasted to resign smith?

Biggest fail in draft history if true.

Andy Reid should be in no rush to get rid of a QB who put up the numbers Smith did this year. And nobody is going to offer the Chiefs enough to make it worth parting with Reid's security blanket.

I think this is fake or at least not something you can bet on yet

i still do not see this on their site or on any other

as something you can actually bet on

if I could, id drop 100$ on the browns and maybe $100 on some other team at these oddds, but i dont think theyre real

if it is real, someone post a link to the actual page that has the wager on it

Only way he goes to Denver is if they severely overpay. No way is he going to a division rival, that is a QB away from competing in this division and has full knowledge of the playbook. And there is no way he's getting cut.

Arizona
Cleveland
Bills
NY Jets
Jags

He will be traded for cap relief and much needed draft picks.

Just too much money involved. They could really use that cap room to rebuild the D. Doubt they have high SB expectations for 2018-19.. and Mahomes really should be ready by now.

The national media that keep mentioning Denver are idiots. They're not trading him within the division. Not unless Denver is willing to dump a boat-load of picks in our lap, which would be stupid on their part as well...it's not happening.

This gives me the same response I had during the Wild Card Game when Jon Gruden kept saying essentially the same thing:

"So the head coach of the Raiders wants the Chiefs to keep Alex Smith." Ok, no.
"So a Donkey homer wants the Chiefs to keep Alex Smith." Yeah, same.

I don't understand why everyone in here who thinks Alex is absolute garbage isn't going to the Donkeys. Why wouldn't the Chiefs send him to a division rival? He sucks, cant make the deep throw, doesn't throw anyone open, etc. He's a loser right? Then name me a better place for him to go to than the Donkeys if all of that is true. Would pretty much guarantee us that Denver will never be us let alone win the division. Come on boys, think, us your aluminum dunce caps.

You can site all the stats you want. He's just not clutch. I trust my eyes when I'm watching football. Mahomes is the real deal. Alex is fool's gold.

That you can't accept this evaluation of Smith by the overwhelming majority of chiefs fans is your problem. Don't make it ours. Move on and let us be.

im in for 100$ on browns

i just need to pick maybe 1-2 more teams so i can hedge a little bit

problem with putting a hundo on the chiefs is you only win 160

but

you could bet 100 on the browns & 100 on the chiefs and if he is a brown, u win 900 and if he stays a chief you only lose 40
