Time to evaluate the littlest Who in Whoville.

Poll coming faster than a sprint to the podium to select Ryan Sims ahead of the Vikings.

DAT appeared in all 16 games with 2 starts. He had 143 receiving yards (10.2 ypr) and 2 TDs, and also 1 rush for 4 yards. He fumbled once.

He also returned 8 punts for 16 yards (2.0 yards per return), and 13 kickoffs for 305 yards (23.5 yards per return).

Offers very little and is an absolute disaster returning kicks/punts.

As far as 5th WRs go I guess he isn't horrible.

D.

Not a contributor on offense.
Non factor in the return game.

As a mid round (4th round) draft choice, i never expected much, but I expected SOMETHING out of him. Never lived up to the hype, and never had any type of memorable role.

Im not giving him an F, because expectations were low. But I will give a D, because he couldnt even meet low expectations as a returner for Toub.

Should be gone this offseason.

It seems like his niche is as a punt gunner. He seemed to do a good job at that this year.

Other than that, it seems like he's got a role filling in wherever needed as injuries hit, though at a minimal performance level. I could see him sticking with the team next year in that role.

I suspect he would do much better if he weren't a teammate of the amazing Tyreek Hill. DAT seems to me to be trying too hard to show how much big-play ability he has, even though he seems instead to show that he can't follow basic guidelines about when not to attempt a return.

If DAT goes elsewhere, I think he would play better.

He never did much before Reek was around either, despite being used in the offense much more often. He's just not elusive.

Expendable. Sometimes I forget he’s even on the team

I will miss his ALL CAPS WHEN HE IS POSTING SOMETHING.

I probably shouldn't post about him. Everyone's screaming at me NOT to post.

But I just have to do it so I'm going to try to come up with something amazing to say.

And then this post leaves everyone pissed off and wondering why I tried to post in the first place.

DAT for Pibb? Great trade.

He should have been gone two years ago after he quit on the team.

Some value as a gunner and not much else. I'm sure we can find an UDFA/PS player to take his place at a cost savings.

Did you break your thumb typing it?

He broke himself running backwards to catch a punt at the one yard line.

It’s literally everything wrong with him as a player in one moment.

If you're referring to The Game Of Life, that's an awesome game. I used to play multiple generations to see how the kids fared when they got inheritances.

Granted, Battleship is a great game as well, and a very cleverly designed one. Both are winners, but I enjoyed the life lessons I gleaned from The Game Of Life.

But The Game of Life never taught you how to call in a missile strike on grid based coordinates.

I'm for keeping all of our wide receivers. I just want to see if Mahomes can bring out the best in them, like he did with Albert Wilson against the Broncos.

DAT is taking a beating on his grades this year.

1.43 Grade (4.0 point scale)
-0.70 Performance Relative to Expectations (+ = Positive Surprise, - = Negative Surprise)
-1.79 Desired Future Role (+ is larger role, - is smaller role)
-0.62 Ascending/Descending (+ is ascending, - is descending)
6.36 Trade Value (Round)

I was talking about the number of people who , at the time, had picked the game of life over battleship.

Meh. He showed a lot of potential with Patrick Mahomes II throwing him the ball in preseason. Patrick got something out of him but he didn't make his opportunities count during the season.

D-/F+

Long gone is the optimism from his rookie performance. He quit on the team and even though he returned to full strength in 2017, he played as if he quit on the team.

He made terrible decisions as a returner, all for selfish reasons, because he's in a contract year.

I'll be absolutely shocked if he's on the roster in training camp.

He's done, at least as a Chief.
