Eric got some extra playing time when the other Eric went down in Week 1. How did he do?

He played in 14 games with 2 starts, recording 26 tackles and 4 assists. He had 5 passes defensed and 1 sack.

He disappointed me a bit. I was really hoping he'd step up and make an impact with EB gone all season. Instead we got turd safety play all year between him and Sorensen.

It seemed like he and Demarcus Robinson both blew opportunities this year. The starter in front of them went down, and when they had their chance to make a name for themselves, they stumbled.

I do think Eric (and Demarcus) is still ascending, and there's a role for him if he does. But the margins between victory and defeat are narrow for mid- to low-round safeties, so he needs to step it up this year.

I think he needs to be moved back to CB.

It'd be worth a shot.

C+ no one is going to mistake him for Berry, but 5 deflections and a sack shows some upside

About as expected

Much smaller with Berrys return

Massive disappointment. Thought he was set to make a jump.

Not good.

Eric Berry better be healthy.

I feel like he’s similar to but probably slightly worse overall than Nelson.

Most times he’s out there you don’t even notice him. That’s good and bad.
