Mahomes full time at QB.. I know he will have growing pains... just adding Fuller up grades the defense I sure there are more to come (Sheldon Richardson I hope)...
So what do you guys think... Iím pretty optimistic... 8-8 on the low side.. 10-6 if the Kid gets hot at the end of the year..

Hard to say until after free agency and the draft. But I'll go out on a limb and say 12-4. But thats only if they can fill a few holes on the team.

this is reallly hard to say

im going to be a huge pussy and guess 9-7 even though the homer in me wants to think we COULD win 10 or 11 or even 12

Here are our opponents:

Home: Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers

Away: Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks

11-5

Assuming we make a couple more upgrades on the defensive side of the ball, I don't see any reason we aren't looking at a 10-6/11-5 type of year. This offense is going to improve, we just need our defense to not suck wet dog shit and it's a continuation of what we've been seeing the last five years at worst.

The Raiders with Gruden are probably going to be tough and if Denver gets a solid vet QB like Cousins they will also be in the running for the division. I don't know about LA but they seem to have close games with KC. Going to be interesting to see how it works out. Can Mahomes deliver or continue winning the division? You don't make a move like this if you don't think he can. He needs to do it.

Playoff are all that matter.

Depends on if Berry gets/stays healthy.

Barring any season-ending injuries to key players, I'll say 11-5

I don't know what our record will be next year, I just know it will be a lot more fun to watch.

I think if the goal is to keep winning the Division they would have kept Alex... The goal now is to get this kid experience and win in the postseason... winning the division is icing on the cake...

LACk has close games with everybody. In fact, KC's victory margins over the Chargers are much higher than most other teams

Chiefs straight own the Chargers

As much experience Reid has in the postseason it will be hard for him to go against a coach like Gruden, hell he couldn't even get passed Mularkey. IMO they should believe the move to Mahomes makes them better, since you have all that experience in the coaches. Unfortunately the issue was never the QB to begin with.

FYP, he also owned the Raiders dating back to his 49er years.

This is the first timen in a LONG time that I don't have a solid prediction as to what is going to happen next season. I could easily see us going 6-10 just as easily as 12-4.

I don't believe in "quarterback wins"

Alex Smith's playoff record is 2-5, while Mark Sanchez was 4-2

Who was the better quarterback?

This could be all over the place. I will say 9 or 10 wins with a healthy Berry back.

It's early to make a solid prediction obviously because of FA/Draft to come, but I'd guess 11-5. A lot of great players are already here and the new QB is currently set up for optimal success.

Who knows? Mahomes could kill it or it could be a painful learning experience.

I'm good with either, as long as he shows improvement.
