Cause why not, guy balled his off of the last few weeks and probably threw himself into discussion for a huge contract as a starter somewhere.

Congrats to BDN for out-dueling the best of all time on the biggest stage in the world. He never looked shaken or as if he didn't belong. Also nice to see a title starved team get a win instead of the usual suspects.

Hope Reid saw his protege demonstrate that you need to be ballsy as hell and willing to go after the throat in order to get a SB win.

Crazy that Foles wasn't a starter somewhere in the beginning of the season. He should have been starting for us when he was here, not Alex.

Either way, hopefully his success lands him a life changing contract somewhere.

He balled out and put the team on his back. I wanted him this past season and not Smith and what shit luck we have to have hired Dorsey who let him walk and kept Smith.

He should have been a starter this year. Made no sense. People out there starting Jay Cutler and Trevor Simien.

NICK FOLES
1) Super Bowl MVP
2) NFL RECORD HOLDER OF PASSING TDS IN ONE GAME
3) HAS THE THIRD BEST SEASON PER QB RATING OF ALL TIME (2013)

Imagine you're an Eagles fan and pouring into the streets right now chanting "Big Dick Nick" and getting wasted celebrating your 1st ever SB win. I bet Philly is just insane right now.

The year is 2018 and there are literally thousands of people in dog masks chanting "big dick Nick" in the middle of Broad Street. I’ve never heard this, but funny you mention it. I’ve been reading the Bible on the YouVersion app and there’s a devotional series in there with NFL players talking about their favorite bible versus. Every player was from the Eagles. And the first video was of Nick Foles and he spoke very enthusiastically about the Bible. If you noticed the post game interview, they both thanked the Lord.

I noticed there were no Patriot players involved....because they all sold their sole to the Devil a long time ago...

He's very big in Christianity. It's awesome, I'm not a fan of that city but those guys seem to be very close with the Lord. Pretty neat.

He launched rainbow after rainbow that consistently somehow landed perfectly in his receivers hands... I'm no wonderful and sinless Christian, but there is no doubt in my mind that Foles was getting the benefit of the ultimate judge

Slam away, but God blesses those who mean it... its all too crazy to believe otherwise, Big Nick was the Man thanks to talent and blessings

Foles is up there with Warner as some kind of modern day Saint, such a good man... lets all hope to live up to his example

Did you watch Tebow beat the steelers a few years ago? Do you have another explanation for that?

It was just a Hail Mary that worked. That shit happens. There are starving children all over the world, I'm pretty sure there's not a magic man in the sky helping football players win games.

I've also watched Brady and Big Ben win a bunch too. Think we're overthinking this a bit. Foles threw a few "rainbows." They looked like great passes to me, not just some prayer balls. This is what happens when your QB when he doesn't like what he sees still puts something up for his receiver to make a play.

I suggest you go back and watch. The series of event leading up to that "hail mary that worked" was nothing short of miraculous. Not to mention Tebow couldn't hit a bulls ass with a bass fiddle the whole night, but dropped a dime when the game was on the line.

I'm just sayin ... I don't think god cares much about a football game, but if there was ever a case for god influining a game that Tebow game has to be considered.

I've always complimented Tebow for how cool the guy was in the clutch. Not just watching games. But watching mic'd up segments where he just looked cool as a cucumber. Maybe his faith helped him play cool. But as a catholic, the idea that there's divine intervention for our one side but not the other is a reach. Foles played an outstanding game. Has more to do with good passes than luck.

How awesome would it be for him to just retire tomorrow and say, I want to be a preacher now! His careee can basically only go downhill from here. You’re either a Super Bowl mvp backup qb for the Eagles, or a starter for a crap team next year

Gotta chime in here with some historical data: Guy who makes out with his son/rapemaster supreme= 7 SB titles. Choir boys= 2 SB titles.

Odds would say laying nude on a table and making out with your kid or throwing a girl in a closet at a bar for a little rapey-rapey beats baby Jesus so far.

Honestly.....I'd talk to him and see if he's interested in staying as a backup. If he wants a starting job somewhere....then I'd put feelers out and see who wants him but if he's cool with staying on the team as a backup....I'd keep him.
