Phillip played in 14 games, making 3 starts. He recorded 23 tackles and 6 assists, and had 3 passes defensed.

I think the knee injury in Green Bay hurt Phillips' career. He was really promising up to then, but it caused a big step backwards. I think he can play in the NFL even now, but he may have a hard time sticking with team next year with Fuller arriving and probably someone in the draft.

I thought for sure he'd be Colquitt's successor until he blew out his knee. Never looked the same since.

Even Phil would admit he had a rough year, the injury didnt steal any appreciable speed or quickness that I could tell... yet probably did steal some confidence, but he ended the year on a high note vs Denver C+

Slightly worse than my expectations

His role will likely be much smaller, but dont be shocked if they keep him... when he is on, receivers struggle to shake him

2 years removed from the injury should leave him stable
