With Veach obviously making moves, the question is what should be the primary focus in Free Agency? Solidifying the defense with another shut down CB, LB and edge rusher or adding pieces in hopes that Mahomes can turn us into an “arena football” team again with adding a guard like Norwell and a WR?

I think as last season ended, it was always going to be defense. When they got Fuller in the Smith trade, I thought they were in better shape to improve both sides of the ball. With Peters gone that focus is 100% back on defense.

Better start thinking about trading Hill for a TE to replace Kelce and trading Kelce for a WR to replace Hill.

Watch, Veach will package some picks to move up in the first and replace Peters with Minkah Fitzpatrick. A lateral move at best.

The defense is a lost cause. Just make sure Mahomes has weapons and let’s go Texas Tech.

Is this a serious question?

Looks like I'm in the minority but in Free Agency we should target offense. Upgrade the OL at least. Use the draft to get defense. Youth and speed needs to be on Defense. Experience and knowledge needs to be on offense.

All we need for the offense this year is a guard IMO

Everything else can go towards defense as far as I'm concerned

Running back is set
Plenty of youngsters who need looks at receiver
Tight end is fine for now, with any luck Amaro or Charles can supplant Harris

1183 yards in 15 games with Alex Smith isn't a true #1 receiver?

Our O-line is OK with the exception of LG and the question mark at C. I say that because Morse hasn't been healthy and Fulton the the backup. Ehinger may be the guy at LG, but his limited action doesn't really give me a warm and fuzzy.
The D needs all the help it can get. I think Kpass at OLB and Eligwe at ILB are the real deal, but I'd sure like to have another pass rusher to replace Dee Ford. With the Peters trade, CB becomes the spot that worries me most.

I have the terrible feeling they're gonna go back to Morse and Ehinger
