How do we feel about this y'all?

Ragland and Ogletree would've been solid.

Veach is hell bent on drafting his own guys. I'm surprised he even accepted Fuller on the Alex deal.

I have no idea who he is - but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Weird.

I'm thinking they've got some other targets or something.

Ogletree was just given a new contract in October that is 4 years for 42 million with 33 in the first 3 years, that is why Veach didn't want him.

He is also much more suited to be a 4-3 weakside backer, which was his initial spot until this year.

Didn't the other LB/DE they offered have a massive contract too?

Looks like the Rams were trying to salary dump and the Chiefs weren't interested.

Weird.

The Giants gave up a 4th and a 6th, apparently.

The dude still has $39 million left on his deal with a $10 million dollar cap hit in 2018.

Yea Quinn makes a ton too, they're clearing space to sign Donald while moving 2 guys who were very productive in Jeff Fishers scheme yet don't really fit the 3-4 which would explain why the Chiefs didn't want them either.

Money and scheme.

Plus he's not really worth that contract IMO.

The Chiefs need to draft their stud WILL linebacker IMO. Huge need area.

Up until this year, he had been a playmaking star as a 4-3 weakside, he created turnovers and game changing plays frequently.

Ogletree was AWFUL vs the run (not what we need) and is way more money than Veach wanted to spend.

The Rams were obviously trying to unload both guys for a reason. Glad Veach went for the pick instead

Veach wants draft picks. Either because he can use them to draft a player that he really wants or he can trade them for an already established player that he wants. I'm good with that.

Trust the plan.

Aaron Donald bout to get paid.

The Rams shed $16 million in cap space to add to the $27 million they had before the trades.

Ogletree is a great LBer...

The going rate for great LBers being a 4th and 6th now apparently.

Are HOF LB'ers worth a 4th and 5th?

Not in a 3-4...He was an abomination last year after getting paid. Pathetic.
