His show was the most entertaining.

Fascinating/weird/obscure people which he interviewed as if theirs was the breaking news of the day. Rarely played devil's advocate. I learned there are a lot of really ...interesting people out there with beliefs you do not come across every day - or year.

The Land of Nye has lost a Legend. RIP Art :toast:

Have known in a general sense who he is for decades, never listened to a minute of his show.

Why Not?

Certainly made many a late night road trip in my younger days much more interesting. RIP

Listened once in awhile. There are some freaky people out there, that's for sure.

RIP AB, thanks for the entertainment.

This for sure. Some amazing bumper music too. Chase, the Ohh of Pleasure, Love is Alive, various Heart tracks. Missed him greatly when he went off the air due to all of his family drama. RIP Art.

Just saw it. So sad.

Always so entertaining, he just gave folks more and more rope to hang themselves, basically, whether they were guests or callers. Never made it about himself, or whatever it was that he believed. Coast to Coast has gotten bigger under Noory, but it's a pale shadow of what it once was. I can't even listen these days, it's all bland and new age and George trying to push his other platforms or his friends' products to the (i assume...) mostly elderly audience.

That show in the 90s really helped to rekindle my interest in the paranormal from when I was just a kid growing up in the early 80s.

Noory is okay, I catch it when I can, if it interests...but but the show was always must listening when Art Bell was the host.

RIP.

A pioneer in alt-talk radio.

He accompanied me on many a road trip to KC. I loved rolling across northern AZ and western NM listening Art Bell.

Some where in time.
Its a must when fishing late at night, on the Missouri river. I've freaked out many a n00b, working my boat up the lower Hamburg Bend. Dark and spooky

For those who remember him..KC AM Talk legend and founder of the St.Patrick's Day Parade Mike Murphy filled in for Art a few nights. Mike believed in a lot of the same things as Art and had some of the same guests on from time to time on KCMO-AM back in the day.
