Yes, I know. The first trial was a hung jury. In the second trial they allowed witnesses from years ago that had vague information and it was used for Character assassination, that is not supposed to be allowed in our legal system. They also used sealed depositions that were not to be used for criminal prosecution that talked about he and women taking Quaaludes and Tranquilizers, again, a practice far more common than most think in the 70's and 80's. They likely won't retry, although, the chance to opine in front of the camera is too great for many prosecutors.

Cosby should have never been tried. He could have pleaded the 5th and been found not guilty since there was no forensic evidence.

Cosby, under oath, told the truth so that the woman could benefit financially from this ordeal due to the deal he had with the DA in 2005. (he was willing to pay her before the civil suit was done).

The new DA broke that deal in 2014 because of the me too movement and the under oath civil suit that was never to be used in a criminal case ever and the prosecution went too far...

Glad the Supreme Court validate the original deal and glad that Cosby was found not guilty. Sadly his name is tarnished forever - even though all these woman had consensual sex with him and being provided free drugs that they were ok with.

Not a surprise, the leeway given the prosecution on decades old allegations was extraordinary. Also, I believe the actual women pressing charges from the earlys 2000's knowingly took the drugs, and continued the relationship afterwards. Yes, I know. The first trial was a hung jury. In the second trial they allowed witnesses from years ago that had vague information and it was used for Character assassination, that is not supposed to be allowed in our legal system. They also used sealed depositions that were not to be used for criminal prosecution that talked about he and women taking Quaaludes and Tranquilizers, again, a practice far more common than most think in the 70's and 80's. They likely won't retry, although, the chance to opine in front of the camera is too great for many prosecutors.
