Who knows if Dadi will ever amount to anything after that devastating injury. But I was hoping to find out this year. I guess not.....at least not for the Chiefs. I know nothing about this tight end. What can you guys tell me? Can he catch better than Harris? Is he a good blocker? Or is he just trash?

A few things:

1. This shows that we can have a working relationship with the Browns, and that there isn't bad blood preventing us from doing business.

2. This shows that there are probably "Dorsey" guys on the roster, which means that there are probably "Not Dorsey" guys on the roster. I wonder who falls into which category, how to identify them, and if we can use that to forecast who is expendable, and if/how we will dispose of them (cuts? trades?)

3. Here is a 6-year old highlight video:

Telfer was always overshadowed by Grimble when they were both at SC. Telfar is a steady guy who will do what he's asked and do a nice job.

It's honestly not a bad move to get a guy who fills a role for a dude coming off a major injury that was really questionable to make the team.

I don't think it saves Zombo's spot anymore than what was already going to happen, if Zombo is kept it's for special teams nothing more.

I never really like the Nicholas style of OLB, the small speed guys like Ford (and Jeff Holland from this years draft, who I think went undrafted?) can get exploited hard in the run game, I think the Steelers did it to Ford in the last year or so.

While it would be nice to have at least one decent blocking TE on the roster, I still think people are overestimating the value of the position. The Chiefs are going to spread people out. They already help their tackles less than most other teams. They just don't need blocking TE's.

Sign Antonio Gates... even at his advanced age he would still be a decent option as a #2 TE.

You know what? This is one of those deals where at first you want to say no, but once you think about it for a while, it makes good sense. Im in.

If you are taking people who aren't Chiefs why not take someone good?

I like taking the fringe players that nobody remembers.

Can't be a good sign when you and the Browns are meatpeeking each other's trash pile and both still wrinkle their respective noses at what they see.

Benjamin Watson was brought in for a look, don’t think age scares Veach away if they still got some juice

From my perspective, it would be kind of cool to be faster than an actual Chief on the roster.

****ing Ballard got this guy off waivers today. Ballard has done a nice job beefing up protection for his one armed QB.
