Just wanted to see what our expert brain trust thinks. Last game of the season such as this one is with having the Raiders at home. KC has a the 2 seed, bye week secured no matter what. The Raiders make the playoffs as a WC if they beat us at home. Would you sit the starters or rest them?

Maybe play them a series or two and then rest but a lot depends on if there is existing injuries or how they've been playing.

If the bye week is already secured, you play your starters. They don’t need more than one week off, that’d be overkill imo.

Rest the starters but bring a guy off the practice squad to break Derek Carrs ankle. Because fuck them!

I知 not sitting my starters two weeks in a row. That means they go out there in the divisional round without game reps for 3 straight weeks. I値l take my chances with injuries if it means avoiding that.

However, I could see pulling them at half.

Then you don't like the SB format?

I’m pretty sure the SB has a half.

Why Not?

If you get a chance to knock a rival out of the playoffs, you take that chance.

Invalid poll: no option for Faiders are old and suck and will be lucky to win 8 games this year.

Mahomes is going to be our QB for the next 15 years. It might be too risky to play him in the Super Bowl. Maybe we should rest him?

If they had the 3 or the 4 locked in, I would absolutely rest the starters. But if they're already getting a bye, play the starters. At least for a half. Too much time off would be counterproductive.

I would play them for a half. It keeps the starters on the their toes and on their weekly routine for game preparation but also limits their exposure to injuries.

Let the Raiders win on purpose. What a boost it would be to play those bitches in the playoffs, it’d be another bye week.

**** rest

The last two times the Chiefs rested they blew huge leads in playoff games

The two times we didn't rest we won 30-0 and lost 16-18 (18-18?)

**** rest

I'd scrape the shit out of my pants first because I highly doubt the Chiefs are getting the 2 seed in 2018.

Then, I'd say play at least 1st half.

Let the Raiders win and make the playoffs is winning. I am a little surprised.

Play the starters a half or a little more, just to keep them in the groove of getting out there.

Remember Chuckie at 3:00 in this video? Fuck the Raiders. Fuck Gruden. Right in the face. I play my starters and keep them out.
