What's funny is that Boyer has amounted to nothing just about everywhere he's gone. He's the journeyman mop up guy that every team has when a game's lost. Him being on this team and being used the way he is is proof of just how bad this team actually is.

I agree that he should be DFA'd, but is there any actual options that won't be traumatized for life in the minors? Dayton doesn't seem to think so, but this is clearly his fault. I don't think Dayton loses his job, though. He did something this team hadn't done in nearly 3 decades, so he'll probably end up being patient with the way things are going right now.

I'm kind of glad this team is terribad, get some good, high draft picks and get this system loaded again.

Moore and Yost know this team is going nowhere so they’re throwing a bunch of shit against the wall hoping that something might stick.

That’s why your gonna continue to see a bunch of borderline major leaguers get chance after chance.


Don’t let them fool you with the few veteran signings before the season started.
They’re not really trying to win. And Royals fans should be okay with that. Embrace the suck. Shoot for high draft picks and maybe we’ll be competitive again in another 3-4 years.
