Is it like living in a trailer park without being considered trailer trash ?

Until my "surprise baby" five years ago, the wifey and I thought about traveling around the US and staying in RV parks or KOA campgrounds.

I was going to scour the land and try to paint a sign or mural in as many states as I could.

alas...

I would consider it, but my wife has employed one of her three lifetime 'discussion closed' spousal vetoes on the concept.

What were her other two?

It’s popular. Along interstate 65 in Nw Indiana there are RV parks right next to the interstate and they are always full. I didn’t ever understand it. Drive on the interstate to park next to it and stay for however long.

^ Sometimes they put a small pond so you can fish. Makes it all worth it.

This is my plan after my kids get out of school, to buy an RV and travel all over

Except for painting, Michael J Fox would paint better than I could with his Parkinson’s in full swing

I have stayed at the lake for a few months in my RV. They tried to talk me into being a Camp Host. I passed

Of course! Yes these all have a pond. My old boss had a daughter that lived in North Carolina and a son in Florida. He sold everything he owned when he retired and bought a $200k RV to travel back and forth between them and travel all over the US
