Most guys just want to marry an attractive woman who is cool to be around, and who won't constantly nag and whine and complain.

Most women care about looks a lot, but they want to marry into security and financial status even more. Most of them want to have children eventually, and don't want to have to work if they decide they don't want to work. A high status male is one who can provide her with these things.

You can spend all the time in the gym that you want, but if you can't provide her with the lifestyle she wants then you've got no shot. Single men need to work on increasing their social status, and not their "game" or whatever.
