I think there is a group of people on both sides of the political spectrum that have gotten lost in the sauce in there, about 12-15 hardcore, some even claim to be "independent" yet they spend all their time arguing for just one side. It's staggering how they go on for 10-15 pages with the same back and forth argument like "I'm rubber you're glue" in 4th grade. It goes on in thread after thread.

My CP sabbatical helped me step away from DC and the stupid arguments I began having. I post WAY less in there then I used to and avoid getting into any tit-for-tat posts. Too much of a waste of time. I feel much better about CP staying out of there more.

Some of them have turned polite political discussion into deep seated hatred and bitterness. :shake:
