My 6 year old son turns 7 Sunday so that's the one I'll go with. We certainly have some similarities. He's a sweet kid but seriously mischievous. Much more athletic than I was as a kid. Better looking than me as a kid. Has my temper. Smart as hell, probably a push for when I was his age. He's much more independent than I ever was. Loves swimming like I do. Always in for a catch like I was. Loves the ocean just like me.

My son is adopted. We've been his parents since he was 8 weeks old. There is not an ounce of my blood or DNA in this kid, but he is my mini me. It blows me away. Its crazy to have a handsome little biracial version of myself.

Hes a 95% copy of his mom personality wise, with my energy level. Hes like a god damn Tasmanian devil! He favors her side of the family in 90% of his facial features, but is getting to be tall and lanky like me.

He also told me the other day "Im always right when I say something, right dad?" he is 5. And that is the 5% me lol.

My daughter is 13 and adopted. But you wouldn't know she was adopted if I didn't tell you. She resembles how my sister's looked at her age, but she has picked up my personality. She and I have always been my little buddy. She will strike up a conversation with anyone like she's known them all her life. She loves riding rollercoasters with me. She loves to fish. She couldn't be more like me if she was my actual flesh and blood.

He's almost two years old so there's not a whole lot to go on. But the kid couldn't look any more like me. I have made a damn good looking clone, and I take all of the credit.

My wife baked him, but that's about it. Hard to see where else she's contributed anything thus far.

He's also stubborn and wild as shit. These are traits that are also entirely from me and I only expect them to get worse. So there's that.

Weirder still is I’m the biggest one in my family. All of my brothers and my sister are my size or smaller. Same with my wife, who is 5’7” and about 140.

Must be something in the water.
