Your going to handicap a Chiefs fans with oven mitts vs a Raider fan? I don't like the way you think RM

Anyone want to go into detail with how hard it would be to shoot a 30-30 with oven mitts on?

Why Not?
08-07-2018, 10:29 AM
All TLO needs to do is sit down(hard but not impossible) and a determined trigger man can find a way to get a shot off with the mitts on. Calm down, breathe, use the sight and blast him back to 7-9 land.

This seems to be the key question. Can you fire it? And you're also having to hang on to the ropes. The mitts may or may not be an advantage there, too.

The other wild card is that Carr4MVP is probably really good with a homemade shiv, being a Raiders fan and all.

Oven mitts = dead as fuck.

Maybe TLO can bludgeon him with the gun but if I were Carr I’d just rock the fuck out of the ladder.

Most, if not all, oven mitts have a separated thumb. He could easily pull the trigger with that.

I think those would technically be oven gloves. We'll stick with the classic oven mitts for this definition.

Is the gun ready to fire at t=0, or will he need to do anything beyond pulling the trigger to prepare it?

He is handed the gun at t=0. It's loaded and ready to fire, but must be taken and aimed. He can't aim it ahead of time.

Fuck man. Hard enough firing with the mitt on, aiming, and if he misses then reloading will be tough as fuck, plus a swinging rope bridge to boot. . Right now I’m leaning towards the wooden leg being the deciding factor.

I don’t know if he can pull the trigger and still hit the target.

Raider scum would insintivly bend over and let TLC shove the barrel up his ass as he would a broom stick in prison.

Even if I miss all my shots, I'll still beat him to death with the butt of the rifle.

I agree with your tagline about the Steelers since I live in Steelers country.
If I must die, you are a worthy adversity.

So, we are in a Temple of Doom situation. Interesting.

I see it going down like this. I shake the bridge, the oven mitts hinder my opponent causing him to drop the gun, I paralyze him with the cattle prod and I deliver a quick death with the shiv, then I scalp the body before flinging the body upon the rocks for the wild animals to feast upon.

I had to Google shiv. ROFL

Pennsylvania Raiders fans aren't familiar with what weapons our Oakland fans carry.

16 feet and mittens tied to hands is a pretty critical factor on this one. The CP Gladiator gods are throwing some crazy knuckle balls with special factors.

Just because we are enemies, it doesn't mean we have to fight without honor.

Actually that would be pretty easy.

Ok, so I have a 45/70 already packed up and ready, which is one of the guns I'm taking to the mountains in a couple of days. It is the same layout as the 30-30. I'm about half tempted to unpack the damn thing, toss on a set of oven gloves and solve this mystery.

I would be very interested. Any chance that you'll cross a rope bridge in the mountains?

I highly doubt it in the area I'm going. ROFL On a side note, jacking in another round would be a piece of cake, it was a bit of a bitch getting my finger on the trigger but I did it. Bottom line, at 16 feet TLO should be able to get off one shot, if he connects, he wins, if he misses, he gets brained with the chair leg. If the distance was further out, I would just reach down and rip a hole in the right hand glove with my teeth.

On a side note, I won't be wearing oven gloves on the trip, so advantage Bwana if I run into a pissed of grizzly. :)

We really should put this into the "Science Is Cool" thread. It may be the first Chiefsplanet authored scientific experiment.

The ruling is apparently that TLO was able to get one shot off, and it was enough to send Carr4MVP hurtling onto the rocks below. TLO moves to Round 3.
