In KC for the weekend. Going to training camp.

A company that I contract for asked me to be on call for this weekend. I said yes and decided to go to camp tomorrow morning, so I am staying up by the airport. Still close enough to KC for any service calls that come in, and about 30 minutes from camp. Are any of you guys going tomorrow? I see that it's alumni day, so I'm hoping to see some well known former Chiefs show up. This will be my first time going to Chiefs camp, so I'm a little excited to go. It'll be pretty cool seeing Mahomes airing it out. Also, I'm getting ready to go eat. Any good BBQ any of you recommend on this side of KC? I saw Smokehouse and Smoke box are fairly close, but I don't know anything about them. Are they any good? Or is there something else that I should go too?

If you're by the airport you're gonna get shit options for food. Smokehouse is just fine. The smokehouse in Gladstone is much better than the one close to you. It's an extra 10 minutes. There's a place in Riverside people dig but I've never been. Prolly 20 mins. . Smoking Guns or Hawg Jaw are legit bit they're 20 min away in North KC.

All north of the river but Smokehouse at Zona Rosa is easily the closest. Order the beans for sure if you go there.

Haha. They're working on running drills right now, draw plays. Hunt got the ball and ran right into the cone setup for the center. Reminded me of another number 27 who used to try to run the ball up the center's ass

Litton in working on redzone drills just made a nice throw to the back of the endzone where Pringle made a nice to tap to get the TD.
