Any pharmaceutical commercial. Especially the tag that says "ask your doctor if (whatever) is right for you". If my doctor thinks it's right for me, they'll tell me. I have a BA, not a MS in chemistry or a MD after my name.

What I hate about them is when the narrator says "Don't take XYZ medicine if you're allergic to XYZ medicine"
I mean really, who the fuck would take it if they know they're allergic to it.

I can’t stand those Carl’s Jr. commercials with the out-of-rhythm old guy attempting to talk/sing over the out-of-rhythm bongo drum. I’m not a music snob necessarily, but it is super painful to listen to.

TV ads that bug me are when little kids are used for spokespeople and tell their stupid, clueless parents what to buy. There's an Xfinity commercial that really wants to make me hurt that child. And I don't like being made to feel that way.

Yeah. From my experience I can practically guarantee someone at the client got a report that people remember the people talking but thought it was for (other insurance company) and they came up with all that, and the watermarked logo the whole time.

Geico never has a problem with people remembering who the ad is for.

I tried the pillow and returned it. It truly is just cut up pieces of foam stuffed in a bag. I thought it was horrible and cheap......which is partially why I hate the commercials so much haha.

I find this commercial odd and annoying. Are these women real or made up? It sounds like they're awkwardly reading from a script that had been handed to them five seconds earlier.

And at the end, why are they standing at a cheap folding table in front of a cheap backdrop? That makes no sense. Are they in Alaska or not? Do they think I can't tell that it's a picture?

MY PROFESSIONAL'S GUESS: I think you might see a bunch more testimonials spots like this (a campaign of them, with many different folks' stories) and this is a way of saving money by not having to travel crews all over the country/world to make these (save $$$). Also, the backdrop/room on a set thing serves as a consistent execution to tie all the spots together so maybe you see a couple of them one time and they get a stickier association to the brand.

I don't have an issue with the car company but the commercials drive me insane.

First of all, the idea that you are interviewing real people is meaningless. You could have interviewed 5,000 people before you found the 4 answers you wanted. Their opinion carries no weight.

Second, half of the time the people are oooing and ahhing over the crazy lifts or stages the cars are on, which have literally nothing to do with the cars themselves.
