You want to know how this story ends?...

It's still ****ing amazing.

Perhaps we only fap in the preseason.

But when was the last time you fapped during the preseason?

How does one bring up the topic of "In game fapping" on sunday and whom is or isn't allowed in the living room on game day?

I'm older now, we've drafted our own franchise QB, and I'm not sure how to talk to the kids (and grandkids) about this...

Deadspin comments are like talking to someone who hasn't watched the Chiefs since Marty and then trying to talk trash about our lack of receivers.

No one watches KC but us.

We're like the ugly kid with a back brace the cheerleader flirts with in high school on the 1st day after summer. Don't think too much about it. Just enjoy the moment and move on...

I lost my fucking mind. I was screaming at our D vs. the TEXANS because that game was the classic example of how KC loves to piss a clear win away.

We didn't, but our ENTIRE secondary looked like shit vs a rookie with a piss poor OL. That game was the perfect example of how we know Clark slowly cuts his hand, eats the pain, and paints nasty sigils into the dirt to summon evil spirits to torture fans...

Sort of different though....as Watson's "bombs" were typically just jump-ball passes.

Mahomes hit 'reek 70 yds downfield in-stride.....

An 8 yard difference also means something. 24 feet longer. Big difference between a 53 and 61 yard field goal.

mostly, he slowed up just a wee bit at the end.

....would've loved to seen the faces of the DB's when that ball came over their heads.

When Hill slowed down all 3 DB's thought "He's ABOUT TO CATCH IT" and then they course corrected (I'm sure that was completely random and not in any way anything they'd worked on in camp) and when Hill sped back up (after the DB's slowed down) there was no chance in hell any of them could catch him.

And the ball was dropped in the basket as well as any ball has ever been dropped.

One perfect moment in time.

If Hill ever learns to run perfect routes and Pat ever gets that "CALM" QB's get when they "get it."

Oh shit, that's not even possible to defend...

Longest pass in Chiefs history is Green to Boreichter for 99 yards. Maybe 35 yards in the air.

Mahomes was the Longest in the air for sure!

Two beautiful things on that play:

1) Mahomes doesn't even wind up or take as many steps as he could have. He's clearly got more in the tank.

2) Hill outruns 3 ATL defenders at basically a jog.

The Chiefs can throw a Hail Mary to win the game from their own 25 yard line.

That's insane.

Eh, you want to get a hail Mary IN the endzone.

35.

That would put an 80 yarder in the back of the endzone.

What I liked is you can see him start to wind up and throw it before he is forced to step up. This ballsy mother fucker was going to throw it to the endzone while Hill was a good 25-30 yards away, and there is no doubt in my mind that Hill would have grabbed it.

I've heard that Hill is actually becoming quite good at route running. In any case, he did one Helluva job in tracking that bomb.

An 80 yard pass from the 35 would come down 5 yards past the back of the endzone. He can easily put it in the endzone from the 25.

If he throws it from the LOS...but most of the time a Hail Mary is thrown several yards behind the LOS. The 68.6 air yards was from the release point behind the LOS.
